Scrutiny & Parc Fermé

Prior to the start, all the competing vehicles underwent a pre-event scrutiny during which the cars were subjected to technical scrutinizing. During the scrutiny, scrutinizers appointed by MAI / FMSCI inspected all vehicles to ensure that they met rally specifications and also checked the driver's license and rally insurance details

As a part of the parc fermé regime before the start of the rally, between two legs and after the finish of the rally, competitors are required to leave their cars immediately after arriving at the parc fermé area. They are forbidden to open the hood or the trunk of the car, perform repairs or add fuel. Repairs are only allowed with due permission from the race officials and under their strict supervision.
