Highlights of DAY 2 - leg 2

The DAY 2, start up order today, saw 13 cars and 12 bikes surviving the harsh test of the Himalayas, in the X-treme Cars and the X-treme Bikers category respectively from the original entries of 15 Cars and 24 Bikes. Only one car could not make it to the 2nd day flag off in the Reliabity Cars category from the original entry of 11 cars.

The first of its kind in India, the Reliability Trial arrived at night in Jispa after crossing the Rohtang Pass. Upon arrival Sirish Chandran had extended his lead over second placed Anila Khirme to a comfortable 6 minutes. Meanwhile Bijoy Kumar living upto his pre event reputation, had zoomed up from eighth to fourth. Pranav Desai driving a Mahindra Bolero slipped down one position from his overnight seventh place. Anupam Thapa and Vikram Dogra swapped places for the dubious honour of being the last out of the total of 10 cars competeing in this inaugural category.
